Łódź was the only Polish city present at the fair, showcased at a joint stand with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). This collaboration enabled the organization of accompanying events as well as meetings with investors and business partners. Partners at the stand included, among others, the Lodz Special Economic Zone, Lodz University of Technology, University of Lodz, Medical University of Lodz, the National Film School in Łódź, the Academy of Humanities and Economics, as well as industry organizations such as Digital Poland.
At the Invest in Łódź stand, presentations by companies from the local technology sector attracted a wide audience. The Łódź delegation had the opportunity to showcase the city’s potential during dedicated meetings with representatives of French tech companies, as well as through numerous appearances both at Viva Technology and during a discussion panel at the Polish Viva Technology Meetup, held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris.
Łódź’s presence at VivaTech aimed to:
- directly promote Łódź-based companies and startups from the technology sector,
- foster community-building among companies in the local tech ecosystem,
- strengthen Łódź’s image as a technology hub that supports talent,
- support the internationalization of Łódź companies by facilitating business connections,
- establish and deepen cooperation with key media and knowledge partners.
Participation in VivaTech enabled Łódź to showcase its innovation potential and build international business relations, marking an important step toward strengthening the city’s position as a center of modern technologies in Central Europe.
