From June 11–14, 2025, Łódź – a city of innovation, growth, and advanced technologies – took part for the first time in the Viva Technology trade fair in Paris, one of Europe’s largest platforms connecting startups, corporations, and investors from around the world.
This was a unique opportunity to establish international business relations, attract investors, and present Łódź as a strategic location for business development in Central Europe.
Viva Technology is a high-profile conference known for its strong content and excellent organization, bringing together both startups and large enterprises with C-level executives in attendance.
The conference program directly aligns with the key sectors supported by Invest in Łódź – including IT, FinTech, Life Science, Digital Creative Industry, automotive/new mobility, and gamedev.
VivaTech is organized by Les Echos and Publicis Groupe (France’s largest and oldest media and advertising group).
The event spans four days – the first three are dedicated to startups, investors, business leaders, and academics; the fourth is open to the general public.
In 2025, the fair welcomed 180,000 participants from over 160 countries. It is a truly international conference, featuring global industry leaders rarely present at other events, including Airbus Group, Stellantis, Tesla, Toyota, Orange, L’Oréal, LVMH, IBM, and Google. This created a rich environment for networking, business development, and investment opportunities.
Exhibitor offerings and showcased solutions covered areas such as:
AI, e-mobility/new mobility, deeptech, life science/beauty, robotics, gaming & e-sports, IT/fintech, digital marketing, and edutech.
Łódź was the only Polish city present at VivaTech, exhibiting alongside the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). This collaboration enabled the organization of side events and meetings with investors and business partners.
