Smart Engine at Viva Technology in Paris: A Major Step Forward with Łódź’s Support

Participating in VivaTech 2025 in Paris as part of the delegation organized by Invest in Łódź was a significant milestone for Smart Engine — it brought us both strategic exposure and tangible business opportunities.

VivaTech is Europe’s largest event dedicated to technology, startups, and innovation. It’s not just about future visions, but about concrete, valuable meetings. Thanks to the well-organized trip and our presence at the shared Invest in Łódź booth, we had the opportunity not only to showcase our offer but also to attend carefully arranged meetings with key players in the French market.

One of the highlights of the trip was our meeting with representatives from L’Oréal, arranged by a French scouting agency that connects global brands with promising tech startups. It gave us a chance to present how Smart Engine supports marketing teams in large-scale content production using proprietary Adobe-based solutions and AI modules for intelligent automation.

Interestingly, these topics also appeared on VivaTech’s main stages—especially during LVMH's presentation on GenAI, personalization, and content automation—further confirming that our approach aligns with global market trends.

Thanks to our presence at the Invest in Łódź booth, we were able to:

  • Engage in direct conversations with international guests interested in AI, personalization, and creative technologies.
  • Build brand awareness of Smart Engine as a trusted partner for retail and e-commerce in content production.
  • Strengthen connections with other Łódź-based companies — an enormous added value that opened up real collaboration opportunities within the region.

Our takeaways from VivaTech:

  • France is a high-potential market, and VivaTech is the ideal gateway to explore it.
  • A well-planned presence at such events delivers real business results.
  • The key is not only to showcase technology but to enable access to meaningful conversations with brands and investors.
  • A joint presence of companies from the Łódź region helps foster a strong, integrated startup community.

We thank the Invest in Łódź team for organizing the trip and creating a platform that gave us visibility on the international stage.
We’re excited about what’s next — this is just the beginning.

Zeeshan Naeem – ScyMotive
From Łódź to VivaTech – Building Safer, Smarter Cities with AI

Standing on the stage of Métropole du Grand Paris at Viva Technology 2025, I felt more than pride – I felt a mission.
Zeeshan Naeem

I had the honor of sharing the stage with Adam Pustelnik, First Deputy Mayor of Łódź, to address a topic that is particularly close to my heart:

“AI in Urban Spaces.”

In my talk, I spoke about how artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming modern cities – from smart mobility and autonomous infrastructure to real-time urban management.

But my message was not only about technology.

It was about responsibility.

Because without cybersecurity, smart cities remain vulnerable.

And without trust, technology cannot truly serve society.

That is why my mission has become to design and implement machine learning and AI solutions for social good — tools that protect lives, streamline systems, and build cities where people feel safe, empowered, and connected.

As the founder of ScyMotive, a deep-tech startup born in Łódź, I am committed to developing AI-native cybersecurity solutions that safeguard the digital backbone of future cities. This is not just about innovation — it is about responsibility.

My Impressions

The energy at VivaTech was electric. Visionaries from across the globe — mayors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and investors — came together to imagine the future.

And what inspired me most?

That cities like Łódź are no longer standing on the sidelines.

We are at the center. On stage. In the conversation.

After my talk, I was approached by:

  • Deep-tech investors focused on protecting urban infrastructure
  • City leaders seeking scalable AI-driven security solutions
  • European innovators eager to collaborate on the ethical application of artificial intelligence

Each of these conversations confirmed one thing:

We are building something that truly matters.
